The Atlas of Beauty: celebrating the diversity of feminine beauty around the world

Celebrating the diversity of natural feminine beauty in all kind of environments and cultures: this is the aim of The Atlas of Beauty, a collection of women portraits photographed by Mihaela Noroc.

Many people from all around the world face discrimination just because they have a certain color, religion, ethnicity or because they are women. I think beauty is diversity and it can teach us to be more tolerant.

This amazing project started in 2013 and it is now one of the most popular photo projects in the world, with more than 45 countries visited.

“Through my photography I want to capture that feeling of warmth and serenity which comes from the eyes of a woman and can balance sometimes the negativity we see in the media” the photographer says on her blog.

We want to celebrate this International Women’s day with a selection of beautiful photos from this inspirational project.
